Buddhist Reception of the Five Precepts

Teaching at White Sands Zen Center on January 15, 2023: When a Buddhist practitioner has decided to formalize their relationship with the Buddhist Path, they undergo a four-month course of study, journaling, and conversation with the group and their teacher. When completed they participate in the Ceremony of Receiving the Precepts.
